Portasol Bungalows are located in the middle of the Costa Rican rainforest. The weather is tropical, warm and humid. The average annual temperature is around 80ºF (26ºC) and the average relative humidity higher than 90%.

In this area there are two well defined seasons: the dry season, from December though April, characterized by sunny days and higher temperatures; and the rainy season from May through November, usually sunny in the morning, but rainy in the afternoon.

The altitude of Portasol ranges from 150 feet (46 meters) up to 2200 feet (670 meters) above sea level. Our Bungalows are 200 feet (61 meters) high.
