Ban dera Azul
29th March 2007, Portalon’s Primary School awarded with “Bandera Azul Ecológica, una estrella¨ (Ecological Blue Flag with a reference of one star¨) a national level contest led by Acueductos y Alcantarillados (Aqueduct and Sewer System Company) This prize certifies that the school is improving its hygienic conditions, infrastructure, promotes campaigns orientedto preserve the natural resources as well as the development of environmental education programs and the participation of the school students in local community actions.
Approximately a year ago Portasol began a Project together with the Portalón Primary School; the creation of an ecological club made up of Portalón´s children with the purpose of promoting in them the conservation.
Today, those kids of Ecological Club Los Tucanes proudly receive this meaningful prize. Congratulations!!! |
Portasol is pleased to announce that on Tuesday November 28, 2006 we were honored with the Rene Frank Real Estate Development award in the category of Open Lot Development and Ecological Tourism. In presenting the award the Costa Rican Realtors Chamber - Cámara Costarricense de Bienes Raíces- the International Real Estate Federation, FIABCI -Federación Internacional de Agentes de Bienes Raices- made special note of our work with neighboring communities.
